A very fancy feeling restaurant with amazing food. You can tell everything is homemade. It was great for a nice date.
First time visiting and it did not disappoint! Sat at the bar and had a phenomenal experience. Jon and Karlee are the definition of craft cocktailers. I was provided excellent service on a BUSY Friday night, hard to find!! Great food and drinks, perfect Berks co spot for a happy hour or date night. 100% would recommend.
We have been here a bunch of times and the atmosphere is great. They always have creative cocktails (e.g. charcutini) and events, like today’s Nintendo brunch. When we call to make reservations, they are always friendly, and you can also reserve online. The parking lot is expanding too so that’s convenient and there will be a patio for outdoor dining. It’s a great place for brunch or cocktails. Also close to my husband’s favorite car wash :)
My husband surprised me with reservations at State Hill Craft Cocktails & Kitchen for our one year wedding anniversary. The atmosphere was outstanding, I love the decor, it was very nice! The food was out of this world delicious!! I can't stop raving about this place!! The fact that the scallop smoked mac remained hot from the second it came to our table until I packed up my leftovers, mind blowing! We will definitely be returning, we loved it here! Great restaurant, great staff, great service, great food! Thank you for making my anniversary one to remember!
Loved our lunch at state hill! We sat at the bar and had the best drinks- loved the April Showers Spritz cocktail, the music and our bartender was helpful, kind and so quick with service! We had an amazing steak Gorgonzola flatbread and Parmesan peppercorn wings. We will definitely be coming back. Loved everything about stopping in today!
Have been to State Hill twice now- both times excellent! This time we enjoyed the seafood dip and bread board for starters, both excellent! All of our entrees were wonderful, but the star of this visit was our server Megan. She was so friendly & accommodating, as well as patient with our group that took a little longer than usual to order due to our chattiness rather than looking at the menu! Thank you Megan!! A wonderful experience as always!
Food was great. Staff (Ferra) was excellent and accommodating. And they have killer espresso martinis - a whole menu of them actually. I got the Italiano and I'd love to come back to try them all.
We had dinner reservations on a Sunday for a group of 8. We chose State Hill Craft Cocktails and Kitchen because it appeared from their website that their menu choices would accommodate our group with varying dietary needs, and we were definitely not disappointed. Additionally, our waitress gave phenomenal service! Specifically, aside from being generally kind and accommodating: We asked about the vegan options and were pleasantly surprised when we were provided a full vegan menu, which happened to be brand new (literally just printed off for our meal). We were also asked for feedback at the end of our meals. One member of our party did not enjoy their original meal choice. That person was able to order something else, no questions asked. The replacement meal was brought out with a very short wait. We came for a birthday and brought a cake to serve. Our waitress brought the cake out, with candles, for the birthday person, which was a much-appreciated touch. We all thoroughly enjoyed our final meal choices. Everything was well-seasoned and properly prepared. The ambience was great: specifically, the decor and the playlist were wonderful. Overall, we had a wonderful dining experience and really enjoyed the thoughtfulness and skill State Hill Craft Cocktails and Kitchen exhibited during our visit.
